Hello Adventurers~! The Storyteller Squad is a narrative-driven actual play podcast featuring magic, mystery, and vibrant characters who inhabit a world where the supernatural and the mundane intertwine. Our cast uses roleplaying games and cooperative improvisation to weave stories together, which means every decision and every roll of the dice can change the course of the story and the fate of our heroes. If you’re seeking epic tales of adventure, healthily mixed with slice of life and queer themes of love and friendship, then join our heroes and settle in for the “10 Hours Lofi and Chill for Autumnal Lesbians and Witchy Cryptids” sort of storytelling that is our show.

In our first story, we play Monster of the Week by Michael Sands, and follow a group of unlikely friends who come together in the town of Autumn Falls over a mysterious supernatural encounter. Join them as they explore the magical aspects of a world that may seem familiar, but is teeming with fantastic creatures, both friendly and dangerous, and other mysterious forces.
The Storyteller Squad started in 2020, and since then our cast of storytellers and our beloved Keeper Natalie have been hard at work to make this show stand out for the things that we uniquely embrace and love to include in our storytelling. We seek out the beauty and joy to be found in allowing the heroes of our adventures to rest and engage with softer, cozier and simpler moments in life. There are just as many friendly monsters on our show as there are dangerous ones, maybe more so. We endeavor to include thoughtful and wholesome representation within our story, and, we choose to support and showcase indie games and our fellow creators as much as we can within our production and platform. You can listen to our episodes on all major podcast platforms and find highlight clips, bonus content, and announcements on our social media pages – @storysquadcast
If you’re a longtime listener, or are just starting out, the best thing you can do to support our work is to keep listening! Sharing your love for this series online and with friends, and leaving reviews on your platform of choice are great ways to help us continue the work of turning our games into a show we can share with you.
The Storyteller Squad is supported by our generous Patrons, and friends of the show from the ttrpg creator community. Thank you all so much for helping us pay for production improvements and invest into the success of this show. It’s lovely to have you here with us, so take care, Adventurers. Let’s…have an adventure.
